Sunday Morning Relaxing

Well It's Sunday Morning, and I'm hanging out, trying to get inspired to do some work today while enjoying my day off. I have alot of work to do before the artwalk next week, will have some art for sale, as well as some Holiday ornaments and gifts for the art loving shopper!

There is still time to order a custom pyrographed pet portrait for Christmas, A very unique piece of art that makes a wonderful memorial too!

I am now represented by Xanadu Galley as a studio artist, help me out, the more sales I have the more likely I'll be invited to Scottsdale to exhibit in gallery (blatent plug... but hey, why not?)
And so, now that I have finished my coffee, I guess it's time to get to work!

Art and Laziness on the Road

I had just about finished my new acrylic piece, and used some floor finish to final coat, and lo and behold it had a weird chemical reaction, and I'm quite happy with the result...

Well, I made my bi-weekly (or so) trip up to LA to visit the man friend (boyfriend just sounds odd when you're over 50...) A couple of weeks ago we went to the Pasadena Art and learning expo, and scored some great deals on canvas and a really nice cradled wood panel! here is a link to their site, they are such cool people too!
Duho Art Panels

Coming up if you are in the Temecula Area on the 19th of November, stop over at the Promenade Mall, and say hi at the ArtWalk!

Wish I had a new tip for you for this installment, but I'm about to go and have a beer....
so I'll just leave you with this photo of my grand daughter doing her best impression of the Rock and the people's eyebrow.. not bad for a 4 month old!

PS
I'm now networking my blog through facebook, so here is the verification that I am actually the owner of this... (come on who in their right mind would hijack this blog ???)anyway, if you want to follow me, say howdy and click on the follow!!

So much to do so little time...

well, I've been so lax in keeping inventory up in the venues I have here on the net... So this morning I decided to work on the line of greeting cards I have out on Greeting Card Universe, A really nifty Greeting Card site with some absolutely beautiful, original greeting cards for any occasion you can think of.
I actually got a widget going today... here it is! feel free to click through and buy any of the cards you want (hahaha) Ya I know, my marketing skills aren't the best, but hey, I'm workin on it!

So there is the Widget, check it out, and leave a comment on my storefront!

In other art news... (or my news anyway) Finished "Survivor", formally known as "Muse" but it really took on a life of its own, and morphed into a tribute to cancer survivors.
